Welcome to Pixel Factor: your one-stop shop for web and mobile app development.

My name is Golan and I specialise in writing the code and building the databases that will give your app or site the killer functionality it needs.

With Pixel Factor you’ll receive the personal service and attention to detail of a freelancer, combined with the back-office support and resilience of a big agency. I work with a highly skilled network of partners to offer a full range of related services, not just coding. So if you need help with UX design, web copywriting, SEO or general graphic design, I can arrange that too.

Pixel Factor’s prices are competitive too, but you’ll also get a rare blend of experience, reliability and value for money.

I know you’ll be as pleased with the work I deliver as my existing customers are. Coding is a creative process – not just a technical one. I focus on fully understanding your goals, then building code that’s lean, functional and elegant. That’s the key to ensuring your project is both robust and user-friendly. Your customers can’t see the code your site or app runs on, but if it isn’t well written no amount of glossy front-end design can compensate for the poor structure underneath.

I’m based in Berlin, where I’ve lived and worked for several years. I grew up in Israel and have also studied and worked in the UK (Edinburgh and London). This is reflected in an international list of clients, ranging in size from sole traders to large listed companies. I’m fluent in English and Hebrew (and nearly fluent in German), so I can work and we can talk in any of those languages.

Testimonials

Over the last two years Pixel Factor has developed and delivered a sophisticated but user-friendly cloud-based project management system for the Publishing Bureau built from scratch which we have been using live for over 18 months.
Golan has provided us invaluable input and advice at every stage of the process, and it’s unlikely we could have afforded to commission it through a larger and more expensive agency.
